A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Regional Basketball Development Coordinator (East & Central), earning between £17,000 and £20,000 per year.

basketballscotland are seeking a dynamic and hard working professional to champion the development of basketball across the East & Central regions.
The key functions of this position are to develop a sustainable basketball infrastructure by establishing local school and club competition, coordinating coaching and officiating education programmes and supporting club development.
The role will also provide a link between regional competitions and the Twilight Basketball initiatives taking place throughout the region.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A knowledge of sport development principles
- Exceptional planning, organisational, administration and communication skills
- The ability to engage, motivate and enthuse volunteers and fellow professionals
- A focus on delivering against identified outcomes
- High levels of self-motivation
- The ability to effectively transport themselves throughout their region
