This week over 35 players from the ages of 6 to 18 took part in a summer camp at Larkhall Leisure Centre with the the intentions of improving their game and having fun.

Graham Hunter – founder of Reach For the Sky Basketball and ex-professional for the Scottish Rocks – commented on the outcome of the camp saying ;  ”The summer camp was a great success and a clear progression from our Easter camp as we doubled our numbers, the players gave their all and were a pleasure to coach. This success has been a result of parental/player dedication, and great coaching from our team, I am very happy with how the camp ran and look forward to running more events.”

Graham’s dedication to basketball in his area has shone through in the great turnout at all of his projects. He is well respected by all and he is a perfectionist in everything he strives to do. With Summer well under way, the Glasgow Rocks will once again be holding their annual Summer Basketball Camp for those aged 7 to 16 years.

The camp will be held at the official home of the Glasgow Rocks, Kelvin Hall, on the 5^th August 2010, from 11am-3pm.
