St. Mirren dominate U16 Men’s League

U16 Men Div 1

Edged out in to second place in 2008-09, St. Mirren have built on their strengths of last season to go one better and lift the Title having lost only one game, and that away from home to City of Edinburgh Kings in mid November. But maybe more impressive is that they have given up less than 46 point per game showing that they are also a defensive team to be reckoned with. FIXTURES >>>

Glasgow City secure U16 Men’s League

U16 Men Div 2

Glasgow City rejoined the League this year after a short break following the sad passing of Club Head Coach “Mickey” McKechnie in 2008. The players and coaches fresh back into National League competition did the Club proud as the “City boys” lost only 2 games, both away from home and both by only one point, to West Lothian Wolves and Boroughmuir.  Averaging over 67 point per game it has been a fairytale start as they strive once again to be a permanent fixture in the top National League in Scotland at Under 16 level.
