Membership Strucutre

For 2010-11, the membership structure has been reduced to 5 membership types with 3 corresponding costs, based on the age of the participant:

Each member is then eligible to register under the following 6 categories of membership (provided they have the appropriate qualification where applicable), at no additional cost:

Player                                     Table Official

Coach                                     Club Volunteer

Official                                    Statistician

The only exception to the structure outlined above is that if any member registers as a Table Official, Club Volunteer or Statistician and NOT as either a Player, Coach or Official, then their membership will be Free of Charge.

Bulk Registrations for Clubs

Club Secretaries of all affiliated clubs should now have received an email containing a Membership Report, which details all of the members previously linked to their club. In a change to previous years, basketballscotland no longer require every member within a club to complete an Individual Registration Form, as Club Secretaries will now update the report for all people involved with their club, including new members.

If your club has affiliated for the 2010-11 season and not yet received your Membership Report, please email memberships@basketball-scotland.com and your report will be dispatched.

Individual Registrations

If you wish to register with a club, please contact your Club Secretary and they will complete your registration, as detailed in the previous section, and DO NOT complete the Individual Registration Form.

For those people wishing to register direct with basketballscotland (e.g. independent coaches and officials), the process of how to register is outlined below.

2. Send a cheque made payable to ‘basketballscotland’ and with your name written on the reverse, to:

Please Note – Individual Registration Forms WILL NOT be processed until full payment has been received. This may affect your ability to take part in basketball activity.
