basketballscotland, is hosting a UKCC Level 2 Coaching Course in Edinburgh.

Details are as follows:

Learning Sessions

Dates: Sat 8th Dec,  Sat 15th Dec, Sat 26th Jan, Sun 9th Feb and Sat 16th Feb

Time: 9am – 5pm

Venue: Edinburgh (School to be confirmed)

Candidates must be available to attend all sessions

Additional dates will be agreed on course for a 3 hour Child Protection Course. Candidates must also arrange to attend a first aid course.

Cost: £350 (this cost includes your scUK Safeguarding and Protecting Children Certificate)

Funding is available from basketballscotland to reduce the cost of the course to £175 for the first 6 coaches who register for the course who are currently working with an affiliated club. Cheques should be made payable to basketballscotland.

Certifications on successful completion of the course:

  • UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Basketball
  • scUK Safeguarding and Protecting Children
  • First Aid (to be arranged inidvidually)

Please complete and return a  UKCC registration form and return it to head office together with payment before the 16th of November

Candidates are required to be at least 18 years of age on day 1 of the course.
