It is a big week for the Women’s League as Polonia who finished third last year take on 2012 Treble winners Glasgow Rocks on Saturday at St Maurice’s. Both teams currently have an unbeaten record and will be looking to continue that run and remain top of the league. Also in action, current 4th and 5th placed teams, Clark Eriksson Fury and St Mirren Reid Kerr College take to the floor at the Mariner on Sunday with the winner taking 4th spot. City of Edinburgh Kool Kats travel North to meet with Granite City Grizzlies in the first game of the Quarter Final round of the Scottish Cup.

The Men return to League action after a break for Cup duty. Friday night sees Fury host Reign at the Mariner while just up the road Stirling Knights take on Glasgow Storm who will be looking to pick up their first win after a tough start tot eh season.

The weekend’s derby game is Glasgow Rocks and Glasgow University and both teams will be looking to add to their one win at Langside College on Saturday.

Also in action on Saturday are Thursday nights Cup opponents Kings and St Mirren. Kings take on Troon at Portobello and will try and extend their unbeaten run to 5 games having finally opened a lead on Saints in the latter part of 4th quarter of the Scottish cup after it had been basket for basket for the majority of the tie. While St Mirren return to the Capital to take on Boroughmuir Blaze at the Crags hoping to get back to winning ways while Blaze will want to continue their run of form after beating Knights in a closely match cup tie the week before.
