U15, U16 & U18 Development & National Squad Trials

In November, trials will be held to select the basketballscotland U15 Boys and Girls Development Squads, as well as the U16 & U18 Mens and Womens National Squads for 2012-13. The details of timings and venues for the trials are outlined below:

•SUNDAY 11th November

•U15 Boys Trials (Holy Rood HS, Edinburgh 11:00-14:00 h)

•U16 Men Trials (Holy Rood HS, Edinburgh 14:00-17:00 h)

•U18 Men Trials (St.Augustine’s, Edinburgh 13:00-16:00 h)

•SUNDAY 18th November

•U15 Girls Trials (Holy Rood HS, Edinburgh 11:00-14:00 h)

•U16 Women Trials (Holy Rood HS, Edinburgh 11:00-14:00 h)

•U18 Women Trials (Holy Rood HS, Edinburgh 14:00-17:00 h)

To be eligible to trial, players must be within the following age categories:

Player born 1st January 1998 – 31st December 1998 = U15

Player born 1st January 1997 – 31st December 1997 = U16

Player born 1st January 1995 – 31st December 1996 = U18

Coach Nominations

A nomination process is available for coaches to complete for eligible players. Nominations must be submitted to basketballscotland by no later than 1st November 2012. To complete a nomination, please complete the Coach Nomination form by clicking on the link below:

PLEASE NOTE –  Players who fall within these eligible age categories and have been involved in basketballscotland National & Development Squads in 2011-12 will be invited to trial and DO NOT require a Coach Nomination.
