Would you like to try Basketball? Scottish Basketball Clubs join the UK initiative JOIN IN UK and open their doors to newcomers!
Gracemounth Panthers, Calder Cobras, Cuckoo Basketball, Ayr Storm and Lothian Phoenix are some of Scotland’s basketball clubs opening their doors for the Uk’s biggest celebration of local sport, and you are invited!
If you want to try basketball this is a great opportunity, clubs around Scotland will be running open basketball sessions for different ages and levels of expertise between the 18 and 28th of August.
To find out what is happening in your area please check on the link below, click on “show filters”, add basketball and introduce your postcode. You will get a full list of open sessions run by different clubs in your area.
If you want to get into basketball and cannot attend any of these sessions we are here to help you find you nearest basketball club! Different clubs in different areas will have open trainings for a few weeks. You have two options:
1. Go to “find your basketball club” in the link below. Do a close up on your area and find the nearest clubs to you and their contact details.
2. Contact us directly and we will advise you personally depending on your area. You can email the Regional Development Officer in your area or contact us in the head office : 0131317 7260. We can also advise you on how to become a coach, referee or volunteer!
