Tayside & Fife – Regional Development Post – Interim Coverage

After a period where there has been no one in post as Regional Development Officer in Tayside & Fife, basketballscotland are delighted to announce that the position has been filled and we are able to assist clubs, schools and partners with basketball development in the region again.

Summer/Autumn Coverage

With immediate effect, and for an interim period over the summer, the post will be covered by two people, splitting the region into two working areas  – one covered by Jordann Cunningham (Angus & Dundee) and the other by Mariann Dodds-Miklosik (Perth & Kinross and Fife).

Both ladies will work 3 days per week to cover their respective local authority areas and work together for regional projects and events. They will be based at Lynch SC in Dundee as normal, and their contact details are noted below in the signature of this email.

They started on Monday 9th July and will be with basketballscotland until 31st October 2012 and should be your primary point of contact for basketball development in the relevant area.

Chris Dodds, basketballscotland Communities Manager, is still available for contact should this be required.

With Effect From 1st November 2012

A full time Regional Development Officer has been recruited but his current employment situation does allow him to start until 1st November 2012. The person recruited has a wealth of business/managerial, teaching, coaching and basketball experience and will bring these skills to the Tayside & Fife RDO position in November.

Further details of this will be communicated by the basketballscotland Communities Manager in due course.

In the meantime, Jordann and Mariann will cover Tayside & Fife and assist with any basketball development queries you may have.
