Stevenson women team on the road

Stevenson College Women’s Basketball travel to play in Spanish tournament.

The newly formed women’s basketball team at Stevenson College are looking forward to their upcoming trip to play basketball in Lloret de Mar in April. The team have been training together since September and have played a few friendly games this season so far. The team travelled through to Glasgow before Christmas where they played hard to secure a win over Strathclyde University Women’s B team.
All the young women are enthusiastic about basketball and share a great team spirit!

Lloret’s tournament is organized by Italian company Eurobasket A.S. Sports Event and will reach the 19th Edition next April 2012, last season teams from 16 different countries took part on the competition, great experience for Stevenson’s players.
