FUTURE CLUBZ PROGRAMME

basketballscotland are delighted to announce the launch of the Future Clubz Programme.

Future Clubz is basketballscotland’s official club development programme funded by Cashback for communities which aims at significantly increasing capacity in a large number of member clubs, by supporting the formation of robust school-club links at the Under 12 age-group.

Ultimately, this project will benefit all clubs in Scotland by raising the player numbers in our sport and ensuring there are more strong and well-governed clubs to develop talent. Clubs selected will benefit from financial and professional support to help with club development.

The project will be rolled out over 3 years with 8 clubs have already been selected to benefit from the Programme in year 1 (Jan – July 2012) in consultation with Regional Development Officers.

For Year 2 (Oct 2012-Mar 2013) and Year 3 (Oct 2013-Mar 2014), it’s an open application for all basketballscotland affiliated clubs. Further details on the project and criteria for clubs is available by clicking here
