October 9th 2011, the East & Central Regional RDL started with a first day of competition that showed the high-level of play that is to be expected of the tournament.

Talking about U14 Girls League, West Lothian Wolves and Highland Bears beat rivals right from the beginning expanding the margin after every quarter. Opening game of the tournament was absolutely brilliant, City of Edinburgh KoolKats and Clark Eriksson Fury played a game of streaks decided by one point with the Central team missing a last second shot.  

U14 Boys League showed some impressive and very competitive games won by Kings and Lions against both of Boroughmuir Blaze teams, slow start for current champions. Bears, Peregrines and Fury ease past their rivals with victories over 30 points gap.
