City Hoops

This summer saw the inaugural City Hoops summer camps run by the City of Edinburgh Basketball Club. With nearly seventy campers ranging from 8 to 16 over 20 sessions the camp was enthusiastically received by the attendees who all received a camp t-shirt and a DVD featuring video footage and photos from their week. The older campers also had individual video analysis of their shooting technique both from the free throw line and from lay ups.

The camp was led by Jim Wright ably assisted by Steven Dickson, Jade Hall, Craig Reilly, Simon Flockhart, Ali Mackay, Darryl Wood, Jonny Bunyan, Ben Gunn, Kara Gillies, Marta Cieslak. Many thanks to all the coaches for all their hard work. The second week campers were lucky enough to be visited by 2 of the GB U20 men’s team, Lee Reilly and Ali Mackay. Lee and Ali are pictured with some of the campers.
