Wood & Runga New Additions to the Team

Darryl Wood and Jay Runga have been recruited to join the basketballscotland Communities Team, ahead of the 2011-12 season.

Darryl has been working for the organisation for over three years and has also been an active member of the basketball community as a player, official and coach. Darryl will take on the role of Regional Basketball Development Officer for the Tayside & Fife region and has a real appetite to support the development of the local infrastructure.

Jay will be joining basketballscotland in the new national role of Club Development Officer. Having worked to develop basketball participation clubs throughout Glasgow and the surrounding areas, Jay is passionate and enthusiastic about supporting clubs to be the best that they can be.

Both appointments will commence early in September.
